When I first started my career as a sales professional, I was filled with fear and limiting beliefs. As I would pick up the telephone to make a call, I was paralyzed with thoughts about what the prospect on the other end might be thinking. "What if they think I am pushy?", I would ask myself, feeling my stomach turn over.

And then they would answer, and I would stumble over MY words, getting all caught up in thoughts of failure and KNOWING that I would never land this client. Not in a million years! Who would want to do business with such a bumbling idiot?

And then I realized something.

It wasn't about me.
